I bought this type of O-Ring set because Viton is much more durable than Butyl rubber products.These did the trick and saved me hundreds on using hi-temp fittingsNormally, I would never purchase anything in an assortment pack as I know I'll likely never find a use for all the different sizes and types. Think assorted screws, nails, buttons and so on. However, I needed to replace the grommet for the mass airflow sensor for my 2007 Jeep JK as the original had rotted away. Just try and confidently find the right size. I got swayed into purchasing this assortment as I found I was constantly digging into my sons box of assorted shrink tubing I was needing for different projects. (I finally bought my own assortment as well as a replacement box for my son.) Maybe an assortment of grommets might be handy too.Some of the larger grommets are solid (but thin) in the center which makes them perfect for running wires from the engine compartment through the firewall into the cabin. They would have been handy when I installed my rock lights and CB, but that was years ago. We've got a lot of wiring to do on my son's old CJ so no doubt these grommets will come in handy in doing things properly.These grommets are soft and flexible, but stiff enough to remain well seated once installed and they appear durable. It's a nice assortment and I expect I'll find uses for many of the different sizes in the future rather than resorting to redneck engineering. My mass airflow sensor is now seated properly and I expect that new grommet will last just as long as the original.So, we have a large assortment of grommets many of which you may never use, but when you do need one it's certainly nice to go fishing in this assortment rather than having to go to the store or hunt online for what you need and then have to wait for it and hope it's the correct size.This is a nice assortment of quality grommets at a good price. I expect I'll find lots of uses for this assortment in the years to come.On my van dodge b350 every time you have to work on anything that the belt runs you have to take the AC lines loose to get the van shroud out. This product has every size I needed except for where the line goes into the compressor on the high side.I have a 4-wheel garden hose cart and the water inlet fitting started spraying. Couldn't find a suitable replacement cart, so I decided to dig in and try to repair it. Took it apart and found two o-rings worn with age. Went to the hardware store to match them up. Close but no cigar. I ordered this kit and when it arrived, I opened it up to check the sizes. To my surprise it contained the exact o-rings that I needed. With a little plumber's grease, a 10-minute repair saved me $135.00. I'm thorough impressed and satisfied.I bought this kit to have some generic replacement o-rings to be used in the kitchen and the shop. I was prompted to buy this after needing a replacement o-ring for a soy sauce bottle.Buna-N is safe to use in contact with food, though I don't know that these in particular are rated as food grade. They arrived with a light coating of oil over the seals - almost certainly residue from the manufacturing process. I don't count this against the product, just want to note it. I thoroughly washed mine before installing, and it works fine now.Most of the seals seemed to be made well, but several of one size of the smaller seals came with excess from the mold still attached. Most were salvageable, but it was a mild annoyance.The case is surprisingly well made and keeps everything organized neatly. The bottom has holes that the o-rings sit in and the top has pegs that the o-rings fit around. The pegs on the top have a little bar to keep the o-rings from flying off if you drop it with the lid closed.Overall, the kit has the common sizes and will be useful around the shop. It gets 4 stars because of the mild annoyance of having to remove the excess from some of the o-rings, but I would probably order this again.lots of o-ring but not as many choices as you expect... seem to always need a different one. got metric and SAE. rather than soo many count for each, I would prefer more in between sizes and especially thickness (my bigger issue)Haven't used but they always make a good product good to have when doing AC jobsEverything you would ever need on a jobCompré estos oring pensando en tenerlos para cuando alguna pieza pneumatica lo necesitará. For what this kit costs you should just buy it if you need it or not as just the one time you need 1 "O" ring it's paid for the whole kit!Not so thrilled, these are very cheap, brittle and they break easy when putting them on. If you have to work one of these O rings on, over other grooves or knurling or whatever they will break before they reach their respective groove. Good for simple jobs and stationary applications, or maybe if O ring does not take too much abuse or pounding,They're good, was a little concerned with the reviews that say they're brittle, but that's a non issue. If you try and put a 10mm one on a 90mm part, yeah, it's going to break. But, when used with basic common sense you won't have issues.
