I purchased this exact item for my old moto e and it was very pretty, however I dropped it at just the right angle, and it cracked in the lower corner . It did, however, protect my phone from breaking, so it did it's basic job. However, ironically, my less than 1 year phone suddenly died shortly after that incident and wouldn't turn on, and was completely dead with no way to power it on. Could have been a fault in the phone itself or maybe dropping it somehow did something but I have no way of knowing. I lost games, couldn't transfer anything from old phone. Couldn't do anything with it, since moto phones have built in batteries that you cannot change out. On the positive, the protective case comes with a built in prop/ring, and the built in ring makes holding it so much easier to hold during long calls, especially for people with arthritis or carpal tunnel issues. You can also prop it to watch videos, or play games. A great feature! It was one of the cheaper ones that I found on Amazon, although another retail chain...(rhymes with" small cart") had similar covers on clearance for $6 in store (after I already purchased this on Amazon) but I am Amazon loyal... and with prime, shipping was free. I love that it isn't basic black and reflects my fun personality in the purple. If I get a chance to show the way the other cracked, I will, but as I said, it fulfilled it's basic job, and comes in a variety of colors.
