Ring 14 High Static Pressure LED Radiator Fan: Thermaltake has released the new Ring 14 LED Series, a 140mm fan fitted to enhance static pressure that produces impressive cooling performance with an optimized fan blade. Hydraulic bearings for silent operation guarantee ultra-low noise. In addition, an anti-vibration mounting system strengthens the stability during operation. The patented LED Ring maintains color and brightness uniformity; the lighting effect is visible from all sides and angles. The four-colored LED ring (in blue, red, white, and green) adds style to the chassis.
Great Thermal Image Test Result Compared to the standard case fan, the combination of three Ring radiator fans and RL360 radiator delivers 40% better cooling performance. (Inlet and outlet temp. are 49℃ and 44.5℃ in respective, △T= 4.5℃). Air flow - 51.15 CFM. Noise level - 24.1 decibels
Concentrated Compression Blade Custom designed for high-static pressure requirements of demanding applications like radiators, the CCB is engineered to focus the inner circle of air outwards, allowing the outer section to pressurize and compress.
Wind Blocker Frame To achieve maximum static pressure in all applications, this reduces the blade's noise and vibration, creating a perfect balance between power and sound by creating a compression effect and blocking any pressure from escaping.
3 years warranty.
Picked this up after replacing the 120's in my H440, and having weird OCD about the fact that the single, stock, rear 140 didn't light up.Out of the box, it's like any other Thermaltake fan; pretty, no ridged plastic, and ready to slap in. The LED ring itself is pretty well done in terms of construction quality,Installation is pretty straight forward, and the rubber on all 4 corners surrounding the screw holes really dispels any fear about damaging the fan while you're irritated that you've taken your system apart for the 4th time to add another novelty. One thing I love about these fans is the brightness. They aren't eye-blindingly bright, but they're certainly not dim. They're actually quite easy on the eyes, while still illuminating the system fairly well. Plus, they just look awesome whenever you peak through your case. In addition, these things are really quiet. Being an easily distracted musician, hearing a fan whirring while trying to record can be irritated, and I'm happy to report that neither the 120mm or 140mm versions are overbearingly loud.Overall, I'd highly recommend these fans to anyone looking for a relatively cheap, good-looking fan without compromising quality or cooling ability. I'll likely be picking a few more up for my system at work.
